Graduate Opportunities

opportunities

Our two-year Graduate Programme is designed to give you the breadth and depth of experience you’ll need to be future leaders. And you won’t have to wait around to get involved.

Imagine working in an agile environment across teams such as Operations and Infrastructure, Cyber, Architecture and Software Development ...and these are just a few of the exciting placements available.

opportunities

You’ll take daily accountability in your role and be involved in strategic projects that will develop your business, personal and technical skills from your very first day.

You’ll get to see and experience our business from a number of different angles. As part of our graduate intake, you will have the opportunity to shape your own journey, selecting up to six rotations from various exciting placements on offer.

If you want to specialise, you can choose one of our four pre-defined placement streams – Strategy, Operations and Infrastructure; Data Science; Software Development or Cyber. On the other hand, if you would prefer to experience a broad overview of technology, you can opt for our individual stream, where you can self-select from the varied placements across IAG Tech.

Development and Progression

You will be able to shape and personalise your own direction, build on your strengths, broaden your skills and accelerate your career within an organisation that is fast-paced, diverse and constantly evolving.

With real responsibility, you’ll gain specialist and broad knowledge and solid experience. Throughout the programme, we will support and nurture your development – and ensure you are given the chance to learn and practise the skills required for future leadership roles in a safe environment.

opportunities

Professionalism is one of our core values and so you can expect to undertake industry accredited training alongside your graduate peers. Additionally, the development you receive on the Graduate Programme will give you the opportunity to work towards obtaining an industry recognised BCS professional standard, such as Registered IT Technician (RITTech), Engineering Technician (EngTech), Incorporated Engineer (IEng), and Chartered IT Professional (CITP). This will enable you to be placed on a formal professional register, providing independent endorsement of your skills and competencies. This recognition will take your development beyond the Graduate Programme, supporting you in becoming the best in your field.

You will be employed on an IAG GBS contract and upon joining you will receive an annual salary of £30,000 in the UK, €32,000 in Ireland and €26,000 in Spain. You will be assessed throughout your two-year programme, with successful performance leading to salary progression at key intervals. We actively create opportunities for people to grow in their career. After the programme, your technology career could develop in many different directions – determined only by your ambition and business need.
